On Saturday afternoon I passed by ISETAN Scotts for a styling workshop with Singapore based fashion brand Noel Caleb. I had a fun time trying on pieces from their latest collection ‘Garden of Eden’, which is available in now in store…
What I love most about the Noel Caleb collections (this is their fourth) is their cohesiveness and adaptability – their clothes are designed with flexibility in mind and most items can be paired together and mixed and matched. Combine that with non-fussy, clean cut and feminine shapes and you have a winner. Fab for girls like me on the go who don’t have a lot of time to decide what to wear in the morning.
In addition, creative designer Eileen has turned Noel Caleb into a platform to help support local talent, helping designers, stylists and fashion graduates through mentoring and collaborations in runway shows. Noel Caleb also helps to provide support for communities in other countries by providing them with an opportunity to create sustainable fashion lines. The clutches below are handmade and woven in Mexico from candy wrappers – little pieces that have a unique charm (no two are alike). Theres nothing I like to hear more than fashion brands that give back to other communities and I think Noel Caleb’s values are spot on here.
